Software Components
The Database of Industry Standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an
electronic database containing bibliographic data and full texts of the
regulatory documents in use in Kazakhstan. You can install the Database on
either a PC for use by one employee, or on a network server for use by a group
of employees.
User Software. To use the Database, you will need to install the User
Software at each user’s workstation and connect it to the computer where the
Database is installed. The User Software is a professional software for
searching, retrieving, viewing, and printing the documents stored in the
Database. The User Software is in both Russian and English. You can switch the
interface language from Russian to English and back and view the bibliographic
information on documents in the language you choose. The full texts of the
documents are displayed in the original language. You can print the documents as
needed. The User Software is provided on the basis of a User Software License,
which is granted free of charge to subscribers to the Regulatory Information
Services.
The product’s two-component structure (Database + User Software) enables
various modes of software installation and use. You can choose the best method
for software installation according to your situation and how your employees use
the information resources.
